Exhibition : In the Paris' belly
3am: this is the time that Doisneau woke at Les Halles to nab the mischievous smile of a bystander, the loudmouth of a butcher or display carefully arranged a market gardener.
The result of all these revivals at dawn? A trip into the belly of Paris for 30 years with the exhibition "Paris Les Halles".
While the Halles district is upside down, the Paris City Council is organizing a major retrospective, the first pictures of Doisneau to the new construction projectfor 2014.
His pictures have the banter of the time and the tenderness of aphotographer for a neighborhood that has not stopped backpacking in 40 years.
On leaving the exhibition, Chatelet subway station will be your favorite. Wanna bet?
